Passport
You must be carrying a valid passport with you in order to travel between destinations via most countries. If you don’t have a passport, it is a no-brainer that you should apply for one well in advance of your planned travel dates.

The birth certificate of the child with the names of both his/her parents.
Any custody-related legal documents.
The affidavit that authorizes the travel of the child or a parental consent letter.
If one of the parents of the child is deceased then their death certificate is required.
