According to Allegiant’s guidelines, travel of small live animals/pets in the cabin of the aircraft is accepted within the contiguous 48 United States. For international destinations and U.S. Territories, pet-in-cabin travel is not allowed for all pets. Only domestic dogs and cats are allowed to travel in the cabin.

Your pet will have to be transported in a carrier that should be leak-proof. A soft-sided carrier is strongly suggested by Allegiant. The maximum limit for the dimensions of the carrier is 9” H x 16” W x 19” D and the maximum limit for the number of pets inside one carrier is two.

Talking about the charges for pet travel, $50 per segment per carrier is applicable for all pets. It is important to note that these charges are non-refundable and each traveler can only fly with one pet carrier.

Your pet has to be at least 8 weeks old in order to be eligible for travel in the cabin. The pet has to remain inside the carrier at all times (on-board the aircraft and at the airport terminal) and only the passenger will be responsible for the handling of the pet carrier.

Your pet should be harmless, odorless, and shouldn’t cause disturbance on-board.
The carrier should be comfortable enough for the pet to travel inside it.
Your pet should be healthy and not in any sort of physical distress.
Unlike most other airlines, Allegiant does not require you to have a health certificate for your pet.
The airline takes no responsibility for the health of the pet traveling in the cabin.
