The entry requirements for pets vary depending on the country of origin.

The minimum age requirement for air travel with JetBlue for puppies is 16 weeks (4 months) if you are entering the United States.

For entering the U.S., your puppy must have received vaccination for rabies a minimum of one month prior to the travel date.

Regarding your pet carrier, it must be of the right size to be able to fit under the seat in front of you. The maximum size allowed for the pet carrier is 17"Length x 12.5"Width x 8.5"Height. The total weight of the pet and the carrier must not exceed 20 pounds.

Both the pet and the carrier will be counted as one personal item under the JetBlue Airways Baggage Policy.

One carrier cannot have more than one pet inside.

The pet should be comfortable inside the carrier and must be able to move freely. The pet will also have to stay inside the carrier for the entire duration of the flight.

It is important to note that according to the CDC that began on 7/14/21, your pet dog won’t be allowed to travel to and from Haiti, Colombia, Cuba, Guyana, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Peru.

Also, cats and dogs are not allowed to fly on JetBlue flights to Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, and to/from London.
